Merge 5b5516d9a5dbbd6e534eba231284bbd1c4c16f57 to fix package_version.h

You can also generate this documentation locally by installing

doxygen and graphviz dot, then running "make docs" in the

source tree. The documentation will be in the docs/html directory.
